A new standard for formaldehyde emission from wood-based panels will be implemented soon.

After October 1, 2021, GB / T 39600-2021 standard for formaldehyde emission classification of wood-based panels and their products will be implemented nationwide. Based on the previous E1 level, the formaldehyde limit classification of wood-based panels and their products will be further refined, and the formaldehyde limit grade of formaldehyde free wood-based panels and their products will be specified. The formaldehyde emission of indoor wood-based panels and their products will be divided into three grades according to the limit value.

This standard is applicable to the classification of formaldehyde emission of indoor wood-based panels and their products such as fiberboard, particleboard, plywood, blockboard, reconstituted decorative materials, veneer laminate, integrated materials, veneer wood-based panels, wooden floors, wooden wallboards, wooden doors, etc（ National standard full text disclosure system)
